Albert Jagger Engineering invests in double parts handler

Albert Jagger Engineering have continued investment in their manufacturing facilities with the purchase of two rotary component collectors from J&S Engineering. The RPH1000 ‘bucket’ models were specified to be used alongside the Citizen Cincom CNC sliding head machines.

How does it work?

Finished components are ejected and directed into the programmable rotating buckets of the parts handler. This safely collects finished parts ensuring delicate surface finishes are maintained also allowing the excess coolant to drain into the built-in sump. This allows Albert Jagger to reclaim the coolant for instant re-use within the machines, reducing the level of coolant consumption.

The RPH1000 models have removeable buckets that provide storage to fully harness the unmanned capabilities of the CNC machines. Not only does the system help recycle waste materials and improve sustainability but also allows for better batch inspection. They also improve health and safety by reducing coolant spillage from the traditional stillages employed on the shop floor.
