Albert Jagger Engineering merge with Prestwood Engineering
After a merger approved by Albert Jagger Holdings, Prestwood Engineering and Albert Jagger Engineering will join forces from 1st December 2022 and become a single organisation. As a result, effective from 2nd December 2022 onward, the Prestwood Engineering site will no longer be in use; instead, the Albert Jagger Engineering site will be used to host the services for both companies which are now a single entity.
The decision to merge has resulted in a factory move to the Vincent Works site in Bloxwich, where all Prestwood employees will be retained, joining Albert Jagger Engineering’s workforce.
With a combined history of 124 years’ experience, the merge will strengthen the capabilities of the business and provide growth and development. Albert Jagger Engineering are looking to diversify into new market sectors with the help of Prestwood Engineering.
The Walsall based organisation, Albert Jagger Engineering, will specialise in small to medium volume steel presswork, welded assemblies, fabrications, turned parts, CNC capabilities and more. Utilising light and heavy gauge materials, the combined experienced skills also extend to design and manufacture of press tooling, jigs, and fixtures in a newly equipped tool room. We believe that the capabilities and experience brought by Prestwood Engineering will be a great help in not only expanding our horizons as a business, but also improving our efficiency as a whole.
